Projects
Open-source editor for drafting legal texts in Akoma Ntoso XML, used by the European Commission as its legislative drafting tool (LEOS/EdIT). Working on the integration of AI functionalities into the drafting workflow.
OWL ontology for describing the rules found in legal texts (obligations, permissions, prohibitions, rights, definitions and scope) with their actions, agents and temporal conditions, shipped with SKOS controlled vocabularies and SHACL shapes for validation.
AI prototype for digital-ready policymaking that scans draft EU legislation, detects and classifies digital requirements and drafts the Legislative Financial and Digital Statement for policy officers to review. Python service for collecting, annotating and transforming legal documents (EUPL-1.2).
Open-source Python package that retrieves legal documents and metadata from official sources such as EU Cellar and Légifrance, parses Akoma Ntoso, Formex and HTML, and converts them into validated, structured JSON (EUPL-1.2).
Study on making EU reporting obligations machine-readable, which produced the Regulatory Reporting Metadata Vocabulary (RRMV), an ontology for modelling reporting requirements in legislation.
